HELM do Brasil held Webinar - Disease Management in Soy Culture in La Niña year, aimed at producers and researchers. The event had the lecture of Carlos Alberto Forcelini, Agronomist Engineer and PhD in Phytopathology and João Lopes, Master in Agriculture - Plant Science and Research and Development Manager at HELM do Brasil. In this webinar we analyzed the possible scenarios in relation to the diseases that can happen in the 2020-21 soy crop, due to some factors such as the delay in the implementation of the crop (by the delay in rainfall regularization) and also the climate forecast of La Niña. In view of the estimated scenarios for the South and Center-West regions, projection of disease management in terms of actions to be taken, at what time and with what tools to use.
The Research and Development Manager at HELM Brazil João Lopes, presented Previnil (Chlorotalonil) product data. With registration against Asian rust (Phakopsora pachyrhizi), Mildew (Peronospora manshurica) and Septoriosis (Septoria glycines) for the cultivation of soybeans, which in recent harvests the product has achieved great results in tests conducted by the Anti-Rust Consortium.
